DC Richardson : And that you treasured the things that Isla sent.

JA : Yes.

DC Richardson : Like that birthday card.

JA : Yes.

DC Richardson : Where are those birthday cards now?

JA : It’s a long time ago and I don’t think most people keep their birthday cards, do they?

DC Richardson : Was there anything that you’ve kept at all relating to what Isla gave you?

JA : There were bits and pieces. Just a moment, I’ll have a word with my solicitor.

DC Bosomworth : Do you want to consult him and stop the interview?

JA : No, it’s OK.

Solicitor : Right, perhaps if you want to ask us another question.

DC Bosomworth : And come back to that, is that OK with you, Jill?

JA : Yes.
